Responsibilities
- Safe & Timely Delivery: Transport packages to residential and business addresses efficiently, ensuring all items are delivered in perfect condition.
- Customer Interaction: Provide exceptional service by greeting customers politely and handling any delivery inquiries or concerns professionally.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, ensuring the truck remains clean and mechanically sound.
- Route Management: Utilize GPS and mapping tools to plan the most efficient routes to minimize delivery times and fuel costs.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery logs, receipts, and electronic paperwork required for daily operations.
- Asset Handling: Safely load and unload packages, including heavy items, using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
Qualifications
- Valid License: Possession of a valid, unrestricted Driver's License (Class B or CDL preferred).
- Driving Record: Clean driving record with no major violations or DUIs in the past 3-5 years.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with the public.
- Technology: Comfortable using handheld delivery devices and mobile applications for navigation and order tracking.
- Availability: Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts based on business demand.
