Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional and long-haul routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes while meeting delivery deadlines and customer expectations
- Load/unload cargo with proper securing techniques and documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and clients regarding shipment status
- Complete electronic logging systems (ELD) and required paperwork with precision
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficiency in route navigation and electronic logging systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong understanding of hazmat placarding and securement regulations
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
