Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently on local and regional routes.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections per DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD) and daily delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to all safety policies and traffic laws at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
- Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Current DOT medical card and valid DOT physical.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR check) with no serious violations.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Strong problem-solving skills and time management abilities.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle cargo securely.
