Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles in adherence to all DOT and company regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently and securely, ensuring weight distribution is correct.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery logs.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with shippers and receivers.
- Keep the vehicle clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Report mechanical issues or road hazards immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Current DOT Medical Card and DOT Drug Screen.
- Must possess a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and criminal history screening.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and climbing in and out of the cab.
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet delivery deadlines.
