Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A) to transport freight
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Plan efficient routes to meet delivery schedules
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and techniques
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Operate in various weather and road conditions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license required
- Minimum 1 year recent tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with California roadways
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Basic GPS navigation skills
- Strong commitment to safety compliance
