Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and vans safely and efficiently to deliver freight on schedule.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment, ensuring cargo security and weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and DOT compliance documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and route changes.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL with the required endorsements (Hazmat, Tanker, or Doubles/Triples preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred for Class A.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Current DOT Medical Card and fingerprint clearance.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
