Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local deliveries within 100 miles of Tucson
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment while adhering to safety protocols
- Manage delivery schedules to ensure on-time performance and customer satisfaction
- Comply with all FMCSA regulations and company safety policies
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Complete electronic logging systems (ELD) and paperwork accurately
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in using electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of Tucson-area geography and delivery routes
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
