Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local and regional deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Inspect vehicles for safety and compliance before/after trips
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Manage basic vehicle maintenance and report issues promptly
- Adhere to DOT regulations and Alaska state transport laws
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years box truck driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Reliable personal box truck (24-26ft) with current registration
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly
- Strong time management and navigation skills
- Basic mechanical knowledge for on-road troubleshooting
- Must pass background check and drug screening
