Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (Class A CDL) in compliance with FMCSA and company policies.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and route schedules.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
- Uphold a high standard of professionalism and customer service at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Willingness to undergo paid training programs for new drivers.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
