Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently during night shifts.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and weight distribution.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs and records (ELD/HOS) in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies to ensure a 0-accident safety record.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, traffic laws, and cargo handling.
- Must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
