Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across the Bay Area
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for compliance
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Ensure adherence to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Utilize GPS technology for optimal navigation and traffic avoidance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass mandatory DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of Bay Area traffic patterns and routes
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Excellent time management and communication skills
