Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently on assigned routes.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or pallet jacks as required.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Adhere to all federal and state traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding cargo status.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with required endorsements (Tanker, Hazmat preferred).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience (or willing to train right away).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT physical).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no serious traffic violations.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing manual labor.
- Strong customer service skills and time management abilities.
