Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently across the state of Florida and beyond.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing freight.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery paperwork in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
- Uphold a professional image at all times while representing Apex Transportation Solutions.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations within the last 3-5 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must be willing to undergo paid training program if no CDL is held.
