Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) safely and efficiently over assigned routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo accurately and securely, ensuring cargo integrity.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading and delivery interactions.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience (preferred).
- Current Medical Card and DOT Physical examination on file.
- Ability to pass a mandatory drug screen and background check.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to perform minor vehicle troubleshooting.
