Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for freight transportation across regional routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip to ensure safety compliance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and timely deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Report maintenance issues and document vehicle performance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Valid medical card (DOT physical certification)
