Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and cargo integrity.
- Plan routes and delivery schedules to meet deadlines and optimize fuel efficiency.
- Load and unload freight securely, ensuring proper handling of goods.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements (Class A or B).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and drug screen.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and documentation.
