Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations in Illinois and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload packages, ensuring items are handled with care and are free of damage.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures for receipt of goods.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any delivery issues professionally.
- Update delivery status and logs using company mobile applications.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 7 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting and carrying packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and change making.
- Reliable smartphone for logging and navigation.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
