Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers for long-haul and regional night routes
- Adhere to strict HOS regulations and DOT compliance standards
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and delivery documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and terminal operations
- Secure cargo and ensure safe handling of freight
- Navigate efficiently using GPS technology and route planning
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in all weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations
- Flexibility for variable night shift schedules
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Excellent time management and communication abilities
