Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in accordance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, verifying weight and quantities as required.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and daily logs.
- Navigate complex delivery routes in the Bay Area and surrounding regions efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to resolve any delivery issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the required endorsements (e.g., Hazmat, Tanker).
- A current, clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no more than two (2) moving violations in the past three (3) years.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current DOT medical card and DOT physical examination on file.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and communication apps.
