Responsibilities
- Operate heavy dump trucks to transport loose materials (sand, gravel, dirt) to and from construction sites.
- Load and unload trucks safely using provided forklifts or loaders.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety protocols at all times.
- Maintain a clean, organized truck cab and trailer to meet inspection standards.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and site supervisors regarding route status and delays.
- Perform basic maintenance checks and report mechanical issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no serious violations.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and drug screening.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Physically capable of lifting and handling materials and operating heavy controls.
