Responsibilities
- Operate commercial motor vehicles (Class A or B) in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Load and unload cargo, securing loads properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate driver logs (DVIR) and electronic logging device (ELD) records in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate professionally with dispatch and clients.
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and route plans to ensure on-time performance.
- Keep the cab and cargo area clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Clean Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card) on file.
- Pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and perform manual tasks.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
