Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks on assigned routes throughout Tampa, FL and Georgia.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring no damage occurs during transit.
- Maintain accurate driver logs (ELD) and ensure all paperwork is completed correctly.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience (preferred).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures.
- Willingness to travel to various locations in Florida and Georgia.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and paperwork.
