Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles in accordance with all traffic laws and company policies.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload freight accurately, ensuring cargo security during transit.
- Maintain accurate records of delivery times, mileage, and cargo status.
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
- Keep the vehicle clean and presentable at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Current DOT Medical Card and DOT physical on file.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong knowledge of GPS and navigation systems.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy cargo (up to 50 lbs) when necessary.
