Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for long-distance and regional routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging system compliance
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance adherence
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for optimal route planning and on-time delivery
- Implement defensive driving techniques in all weather and road conditions
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Represent the company professionally with customers and at delivery sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Hazardous Materials endorsement (HazMat) preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in variable weather conditions
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- No preventable accidents in past 3 years
