Responsibilities
- Safely Deliver Packages: Transport goods to designated residential and commercial addresses in Norfolk and surrounding areas.
- Vehicle Inspection: Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any issues.
- Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service by delivering packages professionally and handling any questions or concerns.
- Route Management: Follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely completion of shifts and optimal fuel usage.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle condition.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: Must possess a valid Class C driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Reliable Vehicle: Access to a reliable personal vehicle and current auto insurance.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills and ability to use a smartphone for navigation and dispatch updates.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
