Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently while adhering to weight and balance guidelines.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and documentation.
- Deliver freight to designated locations on time while adhering to strict schedules.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding pickup and delivery details.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Willingness to undergo paid training if you have a license but no experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle pressure in high-demand situations.
- Good interpersonal skills for interacting with customers and team members.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid Social Security Number.
