Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) safely and efficiently across the San Antonio region.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Secure cargo properly and verify load weight and documentation.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (ELD) and ensure full DOT compliance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug and alcohol screen.
- Strong knowledge of commercial vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
