Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles for local and regional deliveries
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Manage delivery schedules and communicate status updates to dispatch
- Document delivery receipts and handle minor paperwork requirements
- Collaborate with warehouse teams for efficient loading/unloading
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (Class B acceptable for certain routes)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no DUIs or major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic familiarity with San Diego metro area geography
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly during loading/unloading
