Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) within strict delivery schedules
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections ensuring compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork using electronic logging systems
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize routes and resolve delivery challenges
- Represent Premier Logistics professionally with exceptional customer service
- Adhere to all safety protocols including secure cargo handling and defensive driving
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficiency in using GPS navigation and electronic logging devices
- Strong time-management skills with ability to meet strict deadlines
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor roadside repairs
- Flexibility to work weekends and occasional overnight shifts
