Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport freight across designated routes
- Maintain meticulous electronic logs (ELD) and compliance documentation
- Perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization and delivery timelines
- Ensure secure handling of specialized cargo including temperature-sensitive materials
- Represent our brand with professionalism during customer interactions and deliveries
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficiency in using ELD systems and GPS navigation technology
- Flexibility for overnight travel and irregular schedules
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge preferred
- Spanish bilingual skills highly valued for El Paso routes
- TWIC card or willingness to obtain for border-crossing duties
