Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently over long and short distances.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety compliance.
- Fully unload and load cargo using forklifts or hand jacks as needed.
- Maintain accurate logs (DOT/ELD) and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no serious violations.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional weekends.
