Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL required) across designated routes
- Maintain accurate logs, manifests, and delivery documentation
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip to ensure DOT compliance
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to strict safety standards and HOS regulations
- Represent the company professionally at all client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of NYC metro area and surrounding regions
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
