Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers safely and efficiently to deliver freight on time.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads.
- Maintain accurate driver logs (DVIR) and electronic logging device (ELD) compliance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal traffic laws and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A or B) required.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Pass a DOT physical examination and drug screen.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if necessary.
