Responsibilities
- Safe & Efficient Delivery: Safely transport packages to residential and commercial addresses in a timely manner, adhering to all traffic laws and delivery protocols.
- Customer Interaction: Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally and politely with clients during deliveries.
- Package Handling: Inspect packages for damage upon receipt and handle them with care to ensure they arrive in pristine condition.
- Route Management: Plan and follow the most efficient routes to minimize delivery time and fuel consumption.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery logs, receipts, and paperwork, including proof of delivery and mileage records.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform basic vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License: A valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 3 years).
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years old.
- Vehicle Access: Reliable personal vehicle (sedan or van) with valid insurance and registration.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using a handheld device or mobile app for navigation and delivery updates.
