Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial customers in the Phoenix metro area.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Utilize handheld delivery devices to capture customer signatures and manage delivery status.
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while interacting with customers.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all items are secured properly for transit.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or a clean standard driver's license.
- A current, insurable driving record with no major violations.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50-70 lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
- Basic computer literacy and comfort with using smartphone-based navigation apps.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
