Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local/regional routes
- Ensure timely delivery of goods while maintaining strict adherence to DOT regulations
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and vehicle maintenance documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and warehouse personnel
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and compliance paperwork
- Implement defensive driving techniques in all weather conditions
- Represent our company with professionalism during client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with California roadways and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings
