Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers for regional and local routes within Pennsylvania and surrounding states
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment operation
- Adhere to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety standards
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pickup operations
- Utilize GPS navigation systems to optimize route efficiency and on-time delivery
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding route conditions and delivery status
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Philadelphia metro area traffic patterns and regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for overnight regional routes (1-2 nights per week)
