Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A) in compliance with DOT regulations
- Transport freight to designated locations within Chicago metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize routes to ensure timely deliveries and fuel efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Chicago traffic patterns and delivery zones
- Excellent time management and communication skills
