Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver goods across Virginia and DC metro area
- Perform pre-trip inspections and vehicle maintenance checks
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology to meet delivery deadlines
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging
- Maintain professional communication with dispatch and clients
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments using proper equipment
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Virginia/DC roadways
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer skills for electronic logs
- Flexible schedule availability (including weekends)
- Excellent time management and customer service skills
