Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods between distribution centers and client locations
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules while maintaining accurate delivery documentation
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and warehouse teams regarding delivery status
- Maintain clean and organized vehicle interior/exterior to represent company standards
- Collaborate with logistics team to optimize route efficiency and resolve delivery challenges
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year of professional truck driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (typically 8 PM - 4 AM)
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Kansas City/Texas routes
- Pass background check and drug screening as per FMCSA regulations
