Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers to deliver freight on schedule.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and paperwork.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery updates.
- Keep the cab and cargo area clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A or Class B) with required endorsements.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MTC) and DOT physical.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no serious violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong time management skills and a commitment to safety.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
