Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles in a safe, efficient, and professional manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload freight securely, ensuring cargo integrity.
- Maintain accurate records using electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding route changes.
- Ensure the vehicle interior and exterior are kept clean.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Clean driving record (no DUI or major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
