Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles to deliver freight on scheduled routes
- Conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Plan efficient delivery routes while adhering to DOT regulations and delivery windows
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and securement techniques
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Document delivery exceptions and maintain electronic trip records
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate pallet jacks
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Proficient with GPS navigation and electronic logging devices
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
