Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks to deliver goods to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the safety and reliability of the equipment.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring no damage occurs during transit.
- Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with clients at delivery sites.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding status updates and route changes.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical) and drug screen clearance.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Strong ability to read maps and follow GPS/navigation systems.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs during loading and unloading.
