Responsibilities
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently using proper equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD/DVR) and adhere to all FMCSA regulations.
- Navigate delivery routes in Virginia Beach and surrounding areas with precision.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
- Ensure the security of cargo and the cleanliness of the vehicle interior and exterior.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts and weekends as required.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing manual labor.
- Willingness to travel to delivery locations in Florida if required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
