Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks in a safe, efficient, and legal manner at all times.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring weight distribution is correct.
- Complete all necessary daily and weekly driver logs (ELD/DVIR) accurately.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and federal regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical fitness.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
- Maintain a professional appearance and clean driving record.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A (US).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and DOT Medical Card.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR or regional driving experience.
- Clear driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols.
- Ability to lift and secure cargo up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
