Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles (Dry Van, Flatbed, or Reefer) in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Perform detailed pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Load and secure cargo according to safety standards to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding pickup and delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations.
- Basic computer skills for electronic logging and paperwork.
