Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver freight on scheduled routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations, HOS, and company safety policies
- Load/unload cargo using appropriate equipment and verify shipment accuracy
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse personnel
- Document delivery exceptions and maintain electronic records
- Represent Milwaukee Freight Logistics with professionalism at all customer sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and route planning software
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
