Job Overview:
As a CDL Class A Driver at Prestige Transport Solutions, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods to our clients. We operate a modern fleet and prioritize safety and customer satisfaction above all else.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers safely and legally in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or pallet jacks, ensuring proper securing of freight.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Navigate effectively using GPS and map systems to follow designated routes efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding pickup and delivery status.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and traffic laws.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required (no experience necessary, we provide training).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and weekends as needed.
