Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial trucks on designated delivery routes within Henderson and the surrounding Nevada areas.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and proper lifting techniques.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (DVIR) and ensure adherence to all DOT regulations.
- Verify delivery accuracy and obtain customer signatures upon completion of the route.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and team members at all times.
- Keep the truck cab and cargo area clean, organized, and professional.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be willing to obtain a Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) via our paid training program.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to safety and punctuality.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (or the willingness to improve it).
- Good manual dexterity and ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing route conditions.
